❑ Large neighborhood consists of 490 acres and 3,932 residents.
❑ Vehicle speeds and cut -through traffic are primary concerns of residents.
❑ Cut -through traffic volumes found to be negligible.
❑ Speeds on key streets range from 32 — 38 mph in residential 25 mph limit.
❑ Definition of "demonstrated speeding concerns" supported.
Policy L-26 criteria are met on seven (7) key streets in neighborhood.

Provosed Recommendations:
❑ Receive and file the Study and;
Uphold Policy L-26 requirement for 70 % Neighborhood Support and Do Not
Proceed with Installation of Traffic Calming Measures;
or
❑ Waive Policy L-26 requirement for 70 % Neighborhood Support and direct staff
to advertise the Proposed Project for Installation of Traffic Calming Measures on
all listed streets, except Polaris Drive, and appropriate necessary funding
(possibly up to $145,200 in General Funds) at the time of project award.
