Covid Clinic sites are drive through sites. Under current ADA requirements, a medical
testing or collection site that does not rely on public access in order to conduct
business is not required to have wheelchair access on temporary modular units.
The Current model of the business requires patients to stay in their cars with
employees walking up to a car window, therefore we are capable of providing services
to anyone with a disability.
As a temporary site, we are an organization that is not in permanent space to provide
or engineer ADA compliant ramps as our structures are temporary and do not require
building permits.
Our pods are rented and can not be safely modified for wheelchair ramps. As well as
adding ADA compliant ramps can potentially impede fire access and safety
compliance, this is reviewed on a case by case basis. We can provide reasonable
accommodations for wheelchair access to on-site facilities should a person with
disabilities be employed.
