As you know, the owner is planning to convert this building to condominiums in the future. The
owner is required to present you with 'the attached letter as a Notice of Intent to File for this
conversion. Please read over the letter, sign one of them where indicated and return the
signed copy in the envelope pro.vided. The other copy of the letter is for your files.
The owner wanted to assure you that he is going through the approval process of the
·conversion so that the units ca _n potentially be sold individually in the future. The process will
not impact your tenancy. The Notice indicates that 180 days from the receipt of the letter you
may be given notice_to vacate, however, your IE;!ase is in effect until December ~1, 2019.

66452.5 of the Government Code, and you have the right to appear and the right to be heard at
any such hearing.
In addition, this letter shall serve to notify you that at the expiration of 180 days from the
receipt of this letter, you may be asked_ fo vacate your unit to accomplish the necessary building
modifications.
