Policy: 1_ Notice Regarding Condominiums: Require a notice to be signed by property owners prior to the issuance of a building permit for development of two- to four-unit dwellings. The notice will serve as a record of acknowledgement that property owners understand should they choose to pursue the approval of a Parcel Map for condominium purposes during the construction, they fully understand that the Parcel Map application is a discretionary process. If the map is approved, they may be subject to additional dedication requirements, public right-of-way improvements, payment of fees including, but not limited to, in-lieu park and affordable housing fees, in addition to other requirements or conditions of approval. Said notice shall be copied into the plan set prior to permit issuance. Responsibility: a. Planning Division: Planners will be responsible for ensuring that the I applicant completes and submits the signed notice during the plan check process and that the notice is copied into the approved plan set.
