Project Description
Makana,
Thanks very much for arranging Design Review Committee meeting and follow up review. Chipotle is proposing
the following site and building improvements listed below for this site. These improvements have been designed
primarily to bring the site into ADA compliance and improve overall public safety and customer experience on the
property. We would like to formally submit these improvements for staff approval at this time.
1. Relocate accessible parking stalls to provide ADA compliance.
2. Convert the parking lot drive aisle to one way for compliant aisle width and safer travel and parking.
3. New accessible walkway/ramp/landing along west/front fac;ade from existing public sidewalk to front entry
portal.
4. New entry portal with new stair and landing.
5. New decorative Corten steel wall at new stair and entry portal ..
6. New walk up/pick up window at new entry portal.
7. New board formed concrete retaining wall and planter with new aloe garden along E. Coast Highway
public sidewalk.
8. New patio slab poured over existing patio to bring level with interior finish floor. (ADA accessible)
9. Extend patio to the west as part of the retaining wall replacement and new planter.
10. New patio entry sidewalk, railing, lighting and furnishings.
11. New landscaping south of patio along Jasmine Avenue.
12. New custom canopy at west and south facade.
13. Relocate entry door and provide new aluminum storefront.
14. Paint existing facade stucco.
15. New custom signage package.
16. Complete interior finish with new rooftop equipment package.
