Project Description and Justification:
Applicant desires to have live music entertainment at Applicant's existing restaurant
located at 3107 Newport Blvd. The live music will be acoustic only and limited to the interior
spaces of the restaurant. Live music will add ambience to the restaurant and will enhance the
customer experience. The music is an added amenity to the customers of the restaurant and may
also attract new customers which will bolster Applicant's business. The restaurant is a use typically
found within this type of commercial development. Since the live music will be acoustic and limited
to the interior of the restaurant, it will not add to the overall noise levels experienced by
surrounding residents. A current noise study is included with the application.
