NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday,
February 20, 2020, at 6 :30 p.m. or soon thereafter
as the matter shall be heard, a public hearing wil l be
conducted in the Council Chambers at 100 Civic
Center Drive, Newport Beach. The Planning
Commission of the CJty of Newport Beach w il l
consider the following application:
Bonakdar Institute -A conditional use permit to
operate a 3,3I4-squar~foot med cal office that
provides nonsurgical aesthetic treatments focus ing
on facia l and body contouring.
The project is ca tegorica lly exempt under Section
15301 -Class 1 (Existing Facil ities) of the State CEQA
(C alifornia Environmental Qua lity Act) Guidelines.
All int erested parties may appear and present
restimony in regard to rhls application, If you
challenge this project In court, you may be limited
to ra ising only those Issues you ra ised at the public
hearing or in written correspondence delivered to
the City, at , or prior to, the public hearing.
Adm i nistrat ive procedures for appea ls are provided
In t he Newport Beach Municipal Code Chapter 20.64
(Appeals ). The application may be continued to a
specific future meeting date, and if such an action
occurs, addltJonal public notice of the continuance
wll I not be provided.
The agenda , staff report, and corresponding
documents will be available by end of business day
on the Friday preceding the public hearing, and may
be reviewed at the Community Development
Depanment Permit Center (Bay C•lst Floor), at 100
Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660 or at
the City of Newport Beach website at

Individuals not able to anend the meeting may
contact the Pl anning Division or access the City's
websit e after the meeting to rev iew the action on
this application. All mall or written communications
(i nclu:i ing email) from the public, residents, or

immediately prior 10 the meeting. This allows time
