Re: Local Permit No. CD2019-058 (Commission File No. 5-NPB-20-0113)
GA VIN NEWSOM, GOVERNOR
Please be advised of the following deficiency(ies) in the notice of local action we have received for Local
Permit No. CD2019-058 pursuant to 14 Cal. Admin. Code Section 13571 or 13332.
Applicant( s): Cynthia Childs Architects
Description: Demolish approx. 3,800 sq. ft. single family home and construct approx. 4,440 sq.
ft. single family home and approx. 790 sq. ft. three-car garage, walls, fences,
drainage, and landscaping; and repair of existing bulkhead.
Location: 732 Via Lido Nord, Newpot1 Beach, Orange Co1:1nty
Deficiency noted by check mark below:
1._K_Project description not included or not clear.
Proposed work to bulkhead is referenced in project description but does not contain enough detail to
determine scope of work, exact location (in water or on land), or jurisdiction.
2._K_ Conditions for approval and written findings not included or not clear.
Findings are unclear-seems to reference future bulkhead work but do not support approval of
bulkhead work through subject application or reference relevant LCP policies or maps.
As a result of the deficiency(ies) noted above:
Post-Certification LCP Permits:
_x_ The effective date of the local government action has been suspended, and the 10 working day
Commission appeal period will not commence until a sufficient notice of action is received in this
office. (14 Cal. Admin. Code Sections 13570, 13572.)
Post-Certification LUP Permits:
_The effective date of the local government action has been suspended, and the 20 working day
Commission appeal period will not commence until a sufficient notice of action is received in this
office. (14 Cal. Admin. Code Sections 13570, 13572.)
