Zarrabi M.D. occupies approximately 30% of the tenant space at this location. He currently has no visible exterior signage on the building. This has a detrimental effect on his business since potential clients drive by without any opportunity to see that the clinic exists, and first time visitors have difficulties finding the location. The landlord has agreed to give up the designated building signage to allow for additional signage on the building for Zarrabi M.D. However, the planning department claims that the building designation signage has historical value, and thus declined our request for the exchange of sign area. The planning department agrees that signage is of vital importance for Zarrabi M.D. success in this location and suggested we apply for an amendment to the existing sign program.
