RE: Coastal Development Permit No. CD2017–089 Extension of Time
(PA2017-204) 918 East Ocean Front
Dear Mr. Bard:
The referenced coastal development permit was originally approved by the
Zoning Administrator on September 13, 2018 and is set to expire September 13, 2020.
Pursuant to Section 21.54.060 (Time Limits and Extensions) of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, the Community Development Director may extend the approval for no more than three additional 12 month periods beyond the expiration of the original
approval. The Director must find that there have been no changes in the conditions or
circumstances of the site or project, such that there would have been grounds for
denial of the original project.
On September 11, 2020, the Community Development Director approved a 12-
month extension based on the attached written request dated September 8, 2020.
Therefore, the referenced Coastal Development Permit will now expire on September
13, 2021.
