Whichever developer brings a viable project to the City that is acceptable to the City Council and community, the City will engage in a development agreement to secure the project. ✓ Recommended City Contribution of $3 million, funded through Development Agreement funds and General Fund surplus funds MIS How Can I Help? ✓Advise the Homeless Coordinator of issues in the community ✓Understand this issue is complex and takes time to solve ✓Provide Resources through charitable organizations and not directly to homeless individuals ✓A room night in a motel costs approximately szoo ✓Consider giving to newportbeachca.govlgi�to donate for bus passes, room nights and other necessities for homeless individuals 19 Questions?
