Dear Mr. Vittone:
The referenced project approvals were originally approved by the Planning Commission on
February 21, 2019, and were set to expire February 21, 2021. However, on September 28, 2020,
Governor Newsom signed Assembly Bill No. 1561 that automatically extends by 18 months the
period of expiration of a housing entitlement that was issued before March 4, 2020, and that would
have expired prior to December 31, 2021. Therefore, the referenced project approvals will now
expire August 21, 2022.
