Planning Commission - March 4, 2021 Item No. 7b Additional Materials Presented at Meeting by Staff 2020 Annual General Plan Progress Report and Housing Element Report (PA2007-195) April 2020 –the City Council authorized execution of a professional services agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for assistance with the updates. July 2020 –due to COVID-19 pandemic,the HEUAC didnot meet until July and held a total of seven meetings in2020. City staff has worked alongside the HEUAC to engagethecommunity through virtual public workshops andonlineactivitiesthroughouttheprocess. Committed to submitting a compliant,adoptedHousingElementby theOctober 2021 deadline.
