Ros,
Per our discussion, attached is the change memo paragraph I would suggest for your feedback:
The Picerne group is requesting a modification to its design submittal for consideration at our City
Council meeting on 1/12/21. As a part of our effort to listen to our neighbor’s concern and design a
project in collaboration with community feedback, we have been in discussions with the owners of the
4910 Birch Street building about how to increase the distance between their building and our proposed
project. The attached design reflects the outcome of those discussions for which we now wish to
formally change our 11/5/20 Planning Commission approved design. Please see the attached diagram
which outlines the change. While be believe the drawing to be self-explanatory, the changes outlined
on the plan are as follows:
• A portion of the building which includes a ground floor maintenance room with studios above
has been relocated
• The overall building has been moved an additional 3’ away from the adjacent 4910 Birch office
building
As a result of this change, the view corridor from 4910 Birch has improved. Additionally, we have
increased the landscape space between the buildings.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Tim Stanley
