Subject: Recap of the meeting
Just to recap our meeting,
I will have the following conditions of approval added to Susan’s original conditions and forwarded to
you:
For the apartment building:
• Fire department access way between the two existing buildings to cover the rear of the
proposed apartment building and maintaining fire access to the rear of the existing buildings
• Wall mounted stand pipe connections for Stair Well #2 and #3
• Fire Department to review landscape plans for tree locations relative to necessary ladder
locations to support rescue operations to the residential units
For the freestanding parking structure:
• Permit a 20-foot wide fire lane, improved with an impervious surface acceptable to the Fire
Department, providing fire department access to the new parking structure
(this needs support from Public Works: they need a 24-foot wide two-way drive)
These conditions, along with the conceptual drawings as exhibits, will bring the project into fire code
