DRAWDY ✓ �/ 1 _ CABLE CROSSING - �� ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA �v G, E PIPE CROSSING — PLANNING DIRECTOR - A ANCHORAGE AREAS- xJ� O NOVEMBER 21, 1960 BUILDINGS SIGNP PUBLIC AiER .oOBL WORKS DEPARTMENT 9IC w z,ocM EET PUBLIC DOCKMINIMUM RANamec 4/19/62 RESOLUTION NO. 6581 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENRING THE MASTER LAND USE PLAN ` ry o WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach has recommended amendments to the Master Land Use Plan of the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a map entitled "Master Land Use Plan, City of Newport Beach, California", dated April 5, 1962; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after notice as required by law, has held a hearing on said proposed amendment; and WHEREAS, it is desirable to amend such Master Land Use Plan by adopting an integrated development plan of land use for the area located on the east side of the Back Bay that is being annexed to the City; , and WHEREAS, it is desirable to reclassify the area on the easterly side of the Upper Bay between the Upper Bay and Jamboree' Road, bounded' on -the north by Big Canyon, on the south by Pacific Coast Highway, and on the west by Harry -Welch Memorial Park, as a Cm0 District; and- WHEREAS, it is desirable to reclassify the area between Jamboree Road and MacArthur Boulevard, bounded on the north by Ford Road and on the south by Pacific Coast Highway, into areas of C-0 District, R-3 District, and C-1 District as shown on the map attached hereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Newport Beach does adopt said amendments to the Master Land Use Plan as shown on the map attached hereto. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed •to sign said amended Master Land Use Plan map to show that it has been adopted by the City Council, and that the same be placed on file with the Master Plan of the City of Newport .Beach. DRAWDY nning Director JWD Attachment RAN^mec 4/5/62 RESOLUTION No. 658 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS OF THE MASTER LAND USE PLAN WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the City Council have heretofore adopted a Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach, which said Master Plan includes as a unit thereof a Master Land Use Plan, adopted by the City Council on January 13, 1958, and subsequently amended; and WHEREAS, changed conditions and further studies by the Planning Commission require certain amendments to said Master Land Use Plan for the following areas on the easterly side of the Upper Bay: (1) the area between the Upper Bay and Jamboree Road, bounded on the north by Big Canyon, on the south by Pacific Coast Highway, and on the west by Harry Welch Memorial Park; (2) the area between Jamboree Road and MacArthur Boulevard, bounded on the north by Ford Road and on the south by Pacific Coast Highway; and WHEREAS, after notice and' hearing in accordance with law, the Planning Commission has reviewed said amendments to the Master Land Use Plan as such amendments are designated on the attached map entitled " Master Land Use Plan, City of Newport Beach, California", dated April 5, 1962, prepared by -the Planning Department under the direction of J. W. Drawdy, Planning Director; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commis- sion of the City of Newport Beach does adopt said amendments to the Master Land Use Plan in accordance with the Map attached here- with.
