Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 679 adopted by the Planning Commis- sion on May 20, 1965. Copies of these documents should be forwarded to the City Council and at the meeting on June 14, 1965 the City Council should set the matter for public hearing and, if in order, should adopt by resolution on the public hearing date the new map showing the amendments to the Land Use element of the Master Plan. i1DY JWD:hh cc: City Attorney COON'4IL: G-1- 4-- V i.i'U�fi ON: LL or R , iy hJ` tir, . 7 RESOLUTION NO. 679 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE MASTER LAND USE PLAN (AMENDMENT NO. 11) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the City Council have heretofore adopted a Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach, which said Master Plan in- cludes as a unit thereof a Master Land Use Plan, adopted by the City Council on January 13, 1958; and WHEREAS, changed conditions and further studies by the Planning Commis- sion indicate that the Master Land Use Plan should be amended to reclassify certain areas as shown on Drawing No. L-1165 entitled "Master Land Use Plan Amendment No. 1111, dated May 6, 1965; and WHEREAS, after notice and hearing in accordance with the State Planning Act, the Planning Commission has reviewed said amendments to the Master Land Use Plan as shown on said drawing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach does adopt said amendments to the Master Land Use Plan in accordance with the attached Drawing No. L-1165 entitled "Master Land Use Plan Amendment No. 1110, dated May 6, 1965. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and Secretary of the Commis- sion be directed to certify and transmit said amended Master Land Use Plan to the Council of the City of Newport Beach for consideration and adoption. Regularly passed and adopted by the Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach, State of California, on the 20th day of May, 1965.
