Subject: Ford Road Residential Project---- PA 2017-228
Dear Council Member Herdman and Planning Commissioners,
This project does not do anything for the neighborhood or City of Newport Beach at all and there is no
public benefit for it. The developer indicated that the sales prices of the condominiums will be $700-
$800 per square foot and the City just doesn’t need that. There is no public benefit in this project. The
application is fully discretionary, so it should be denied.
It is too dense, too tall and unnecessary. We should not be placing this project right adjacent to a public
park and existing single family detached homes.
Thank you for all of your hard work and effort on behalf of this City.
