Subject: Vote No on the Project at 4302 Ford Road
Dear Mr. Zdeba,
Clement and I wish to express our deep conviction that the Apt./condo Project at 4302 Ford Road is a severe
hazard:
1. The parking design has cars exiting from the underground parking garage and up a ramp with
extremely limited visibility.
2. The building is near a sidewalk.
3. The three stories will hover over the park where kids play and the primary pedestrian sidewalk and bike
route of kids going to CDM/OLQA.
4. Parking is inadequate for these units, so residents will take over parking spots for the park, making the park
exclusively used by apt/condo residents. This deprives taxpayers use of a park that apt/condo owners will have
usurped.
5. Delivery trucks will cause major accidents as they need to exit backwards. Please do not wait for casualties
before you require an Environmental Impact Study. Taxpayers will not wish to pay hefty insurance fees when
the casualty count begins.
6. Port Street residents and parents of kids who bike to CDM/OLQA were not informed of this project until
recently.
Please allow all port street residents, parents of children who bike to CDM/OLQA to voice their concerns
before voting on such a critical issue.
Thank you for your consideration.
Best,
Clement and Annie Chu
