Subject: Proposed New Building at 4302 Ford Road
Hello. I have lived on the Port Streets for the majority of my life and have witnessed the changes
over the last 40+ years. I understand that over time, communities grow and need to change on
some level. However, the proposed building at the end of Ford Road is absolutely outrageous.
There is no reason to add more traffic and endanger kids who use the bike path. There are long
lines of cars at various times during the day. Ford Road cannot support the existing traffic, let
alone any new traffic. It's already a nightmare. I cannot imagine this is the only place in
Newport Beach to construct a new building. I'm sure there are plenty of buildings that are vacant
(or for sale) that could be rezoned (Dover & 16th Street).
