It is with pleasure we recommend Gregory Pierre Cox as a candidate for Newport Beach's Art Commission. Uwe
have worked closely with Gregory in his current position at Pacific Symphony where he is VP of Development and
External Affairs. His skills in reaching out into the community, connecting/creating public-private partnerships,
developing marketing programs to benefit the public at large are among his many attributes. He has a rich
background in the cultural arts and education that has given him a broad experience in developing programs and
articulating the benefits to the community at large. Gregory is a leader, but also works well as a team member. He
lives in Corona Del Mar and would be an asset to our art commission and the city we all love and live in.

I am writing in support of Gregory Pierre Cox to serve on the Newport Beach City Arts Council. He
works at Pacific Symphony and so has access to many musicians, programs, and resources for art to
be presented in our city. I work closely with him on the teenage program for the symphony where
we have 600 kids try out for our 250 spots.
Please give him your support! Thank you!
