RE: Change of Contractor Request
Dear Mr. Elheuar.
Please accept this request to have DPR Construction, listed as contractor, removed from
Grading Permit #G2003-0125 and changed to McCarthy Building Companies.
The reason for this request is because Hoag Memorial Hospital removed DPR from the
project back in May 2004 and our construction schedule has been adversely affected. The
scope of work under our permit with the City of Newport Beach has been done in phases:
excavation & shoring along with the construction of structural walls, underground utility
piping (OSHPD), and the precise grading (CITY). This Cogeneration Plant will be
completed and closed out with all required City documentation no later than September
30. 2005.
