Dear Mr. Roberson,
The referenced Coastal Development Permit was originally approved by the Zoning
Administrator on November 20, 2018, and was set to expire November 20, 2020.
Pursuant to Section 21.54.060 (Time Limits and Extensions) of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code, the Community Development Director may extend the approval for no
more than three additional 12-month periods beyond the expiration of the original
approval. The Director must find that there have been no changes in the conditions or
circumstances of the site or project, such that there would have been grounds for denial
of the original project.
On November 25, 2020, the Community Development Director approved a 12-month
extension based on the attached written request dated November 9, 2020. Therefore,
the referenced Coastal Development Permit will now expire November 20, 2021.

Hi Makana,
Please extend the expiration date of the Costal Development Permit for the Newport Beach Country
Club Tennis Club Redevelopment – 1602 E Coast Highway, Parcels A, B, C & D of Parcel Map 2016-151
(TTM 15347).
I believe it expires December 4, 2020 or possibly November 20, 2020 (it expires 24 Months after it was
approved on November 20, 2018, but it became effective 14 days later).
We are preparing re-configured Site Improvement Plans for submittal within a week.
