PROPOSED REQUEST IS FOR THE ON SITE CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND WINE (type
41-eating place license) IN AN EXISTING 867' SQ FT. RESTAURANT INCLUDING 8 -
INDOOR SEATS AND A 1128 'SQ . FT PATIO containing 42-SEATS AND HOURS OF
OPERATION FROM 8A-6P DAILY.
THE PROJECT DOES NOT INVOLVE ANY LIVE ENTERTAINMENT OR DANCNG. THE
APPLICANT HAS EXISTED AT THE LOCATION FOR OVER 10 YEARS WITHOUT ANY
VIOLATIONS . THERE ARE 150 TOTAL PARKING SPACES ON THE SITE.
CURRENTLY THERE ARE 4 EMPLOYEES ON SHIFT AS WELL AS THE OWNER OF THE
RESTAURANT. THERE ARE SECURITY CAMERAS THROUGH OUT THE RESTAURANT
AND PATIO. BEER AND WINE WILL BE ORDERED AT THE COUNTER AND CONSUMED
ON THE INTERIOR AND PATIO, SUPERVISED BY STAFF ON DUTY.
SEPARATION FACTORS ON THE PATIO IS IN THE FORM OF ROPES AND PLANTERS.
SAFETY AND SECURITY WILL BE THE MAIN FOCUS OF STAFF . STAFF WILL
PARTICIPATE IN ANY MANDATED ABC TRAINING.

JUSTIFICATION AND FINDNGS
1. THE USE IS CONSISTENT WITH THE GENERAL PLAN FOR THIS FULLY
COMMERCIALIZED AREA. THE SERVICE OF ANCILLARY BEER AND WINE IN
CONJUNCTION WITH A RESTAURANT WITH FULL MEALS IS CONSISTENT WITH THE
INTENT OF THE PLANS FOR THE COMMUNITY.
2. THE ZONING DISTRICT AND CODES ALLOWS FOR USE OF ON SITE ALCOHOL IN
RESTAURANTS SERVING FOOD.
3. THE RESTAURANT HAS BEEN IN EXISTENCE FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS AND IS
COMPATIBLE WITH OTHER SIMILAR USES IN THE VICINITY OF WHICH IT IS LOCATED.
4. THE EXISTING SITE LOCATION WAS BUILT IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE
PROVISIONS IN RELATION TO ACCESS PARKING, PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES.
5. THE EXISTING RESTAURANT IS A FAMILY STYLED ATMOSPHERE AND HAS BEEN A
STAPLE IN THE COMMUNITY FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS. THE RESTAURANT HAS
CONSERVATIVE HOURS AND HAS NOT BEEN THE FOCUS OF ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT
PROBLEMS OR VIOLATIONS.
