Although we have been able to keep the gas main and services that deliver gas to you and your
neighbors in good conditions by making minor repairs, they must now be replaced with new
pipe. During construction you will have full access to your property at all times. If we find that
we need to do any excavating (digging holes) on your property and we cause any disturbances to
your lawn or flowers they will be replanted or replaced at no cost to you.
If it is necessary to cut paved surfaces on private property such as, Asphalt or concrete we will
resurface them temporarily until our paving department can make the permanent repairs. Please
allow three to five weeks for final repair.
Sometimes during the course of the job, it may be necessary to temporarily shut off the gas to tie
over to the new main or service. One of our service men will be on hand to re -light all of your
appliances when the gas is turned back on. If an adult is not on the premises when we are ready
to relight your appliances, a tag will be left on your door with instructions to call (800) 427-
2200, 24 hours a day, to arrange a service call.
Because construction jobs tend to attract children, please encourage your children to play away
from the job site and the equipment. You will help us by assuring their safety and enabling us to
finish the job sooner.
For your information, the work will be done by our licensed contractor NPL Construction.
However, a Gas Company representative will be available if you wish to speak to one. The work
is scheduled to begin on June 12,2018 and is expected to take approximately 6/8 weeks. If you
