Please see below the conditions for the Red-O limited term permit:
• There shall be a minimum of 5-feet of space around all overhead facilities, such as poles, and 15-
feet of space around all underground facilities, such as vault lids, manholes, vent pipes, pad-
mounted transformers, etc.
• Seating or structures below overhead conductors and/or under the “drip line” shall be
prohibited.
• Public eating/dining at tables shall not be situated on top of energized vault lids, energized
underground structures, or next to vent pipes, etc.
• Expanded outdoor dining areas shall adhere to the SCE clearance decal example provided in
Attachment No. CD3.
• The expanded outdoor dining area shall not block access to accessible parking spaces.
• The expanded outdoor dining area shall provide substantial barriers (consisting of K-rail, water-
filled barricades, or similar) to delineate the dining area adjacent to drive aisles and parking
spaces.
• A turnaround space and hammerhead/drive aisle extension shall be provided at all dead-end
drive aisles.
