Attn: Nina Raey or Moni Dosanjh 3199 Airport Loop Drive, Suite D Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Application No. • Minor Use Permit No. UP2022-002 (PA2022-015) Address 2001 Westcliff Drive, Suite 102 Please be advised that after reviewing the subject application, your submittal has been deemed incomplete and further information is required before we are able to proceed with the application process. The following documentation is required to complete the application: 1. Submit a copy of a Preliminary Title Report not more than six months old from the date the application was submitted. 2. Provide proposed floor plans via email to ccurley@newportbeachca.gov and as 4 reduced, hard copy sets of plans. Include the following information: a. The net public area and gross floor area b. The location of any seating areas, any benches, seats and/or tables, food preparation areas, counters for ordering, etc. c. Occupancy and occupant load, calculated using an occupant load factor of 5 square feet per occupant. d. Demonstrate compliance with disabled access requirements. e. Indicate the location of the grease interceptor. f. If any steam or heat generating appliances, a type II hood is required. If this is the case, indicate the hood. g. Indicate the wash-out area. 3. Indicate the location of trash area on the site plan. Include the following information: a. Size in square feet b. If it has a solid roof and walls c. If it contains a sewer drain. d. Ensure the trash area complies with NBMC 20.30.120. Page 2 4. Note that Type II exhaust discharge must be 10 feet away from building openings, property lines, grade level and adjacent buildings. Exhaust also shall not discharge onto the public right-of-way. Upon verification of completion, the application will be processed and scheduled for a Zoning Administrator Hearing.
