deemed incomplete and further information is required before we are able to proceed
with the application process.
The following documentation is required to complete the application:
1. Agreement
a. Please note, a bond is required prior to construction.
b. Please note, a master license agreement amendment is required prior to
construction in order to identify the specific site locations approved under
the agreement.
c. Please note, an encroachment permit is required prior to construction.
2. SCE Letter
Provide a letter from Southern California Edison authorizing the power supply for
this site location.
3. Public Noticing Materials
a. Only one set of mailing labels was submitted in application. Please
provide a duplicate set.
b. Project is in the coastal zone. Coastal development permits require
noticing to both owners and occupants. Please obtain mailing labels for
occupants.
4. Plans
a. See comments and redlines for corrections.
5. Electronic copy

All of the above submittal items are required to be submitted in electronic format (i.e.,
CD-ROM or PDF via email).
6. Pending Project Review Request Comments
Your project has been routed to the Public Works department, Utilities department,
and Real Property division for review. Comments and redlines from both Public
Works and Utilities are attached. Comments and redlines from Real Property will be
provided to you electronically as soon as they become available.
Upon verification of completion, the application will be processed and scheduled for a
Zoning Administrator Hearing. Should you have any questions regarding submittal

SUBJECT: FINDINGS, COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL FOR PA2021-145, UP2021-028 (SLC5051)
CONDITIONS:
1. Conditions of approval pending the resubmittal and approval of all corrections and comments.
CORRECTION AND COMMENTS:
1. Provide SCE power location and approved drawings from SCE. 2. Revise note on the Plans “An approved encroachment permit is required prior to
performing any work activities within the public right-of-way.”
3. The existing elevation drawing on sheet A-4 is incorrect. Please revise drawing. 4. Please install a RF notice at pedestrian eye level.
5. Public Works standards were updated in March 2021. Please revise all referenced Public Works standards. 6. The light arm on sheet A-5 is not consistent with the existing light arm.
04/05/2022 – Please overlay the existing pole with the new or provide the existing radius. New light arm does not appear to match geometry of existing. 7. See TCP redlines.
8. Show the existing streetlight conduit. 9. See the Plans for additional redlined comments.
10. 04/05/2022 – Final utility runs are required for plan approval and permit issuance.

11. 04/05/2022 – Please verify with the utility department whether the proposed bolt
pattern is consistent with City standards. 12. 04/05/2022 – The new pole is to be painted to match the existing.

Any undergound fuse blocks, disconnects, or switches should be rated NEMA type 6

Page E-1 item 10 What is a #203 lock? Can we get spares for when it rusts out?

Can the pullboxes be physically labeled “communication” and “power” or something to
differentiate them?
