Please be advised that after reviewing the subject application, your submittal has been
deemed incomplete and further information is required before we are able to proceed
with the application process.
The following documentation is required to complete the application:
1. Patio Size
The existing 20-foot by 40-foot, 800-square foot patio area, originally approved under
Emergency Temporary Use Permit No. UP2020-065 is currently located within a
parking area. It occupies 6 parking spaces.
On September 14, 2021, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2021-84 to grant
an additional extension of the Emergency Temporary Use Permits through
December 31, 2021. This means your request for a limited term permit is being
amended from November 15, 2021 through February 15, 2022 to a period beginning
on or after January 1, 2022.
As the patios have become a more permanent fixture than originally intended, the
Community Development Director has set a maximum size for outdoor patios
continuing beyond the December 31, 2021 date through a limited term permit. The
maximum area outdoor dining shall be 550 square feet with a maximum number of
four (4) parking spaces that can be displaced by the patio.
2. Plans
Please provide a sketch or drawing that dimensions the reduced dining area and
update your written project description so it reflects your revised request.

Location of patio
Dimensions of patio

Location of substantial barriers to be provided between the dining area and
parking area. Label the type of proposed substantial barriers (i.e. k-rails, water-
filled barriers, etc.)
Please submit all updated materials in electronic format via email
