1. Provide labels on plans that identify AC disconnect for ESS. Use the sample placard
below.

testing complying with Section 1203.1.3 of the 2019 California Fire Code. Show

Green Building Standards Code (CG); & Chapter 15 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code (NBMC).

3. All sheets must be signed by the State of California licensed contractor who prepared them with a
classification of "A", "B", "C-46" or "C-10." Provide the individual's printed name with signature
and license class and number on each sheet. This correction shall be revisited at time of each
submittal.
4. Ongoing projects, new single family dwelling or addition, with an open Building Permit and an
Engineer of Record (EOR), will require that EOR's review stamp of approval on this solar plan sheet
which indicates the location of the panels, due to the additional weight onto the EOR's initial design
for the structure. The EORfor new house with plan check number 1518-2020 is Dale Loren Forbes.
This correction shall be revisited at the time of each submittal. Engineer is encouraged to call the
plan checker to discuss comments prior to re -submittals.

CORRECTIONS:
Please make the following corrections.
1. There is equipment proposed in the garage (tesla batteries and other solar equipment). Please
show the two single -car garage spaces on the plans to demonstrate that the equipment can be
p J^Qt located outside of the required 10' wide by 20' deep dimensions. If the equipment protrudes
into the clear dimensions then it will need to be relocated to another location outside of the
Y garage.
Note: Based on the approved plans for the new house the garages are 11' wide by 20' deep.
