Please be advised that after reviewing the subject application, your submittal has been
deemed incomplete and further information is required before we are able to proceed
with the application process.
The following documentation is required to complete the application:
1. Plans
There are inconsistencies between the submitted plans with the latest approved
plans on file with the City. For example, the building setback along the westerly
property line and the parking layout does not match plan check number 1663-2002.
Please come to City Hall (Bay C) to pick up the redlines from Planning and revise as
necessary prior to resubmitting. Please address the other corrections required
detailed in the plan set (i.e. missing data).
2. Project Description
The project description does not describe how trash from the new eating and drinking
establishment use will be managed. The take-out sandwich shop will likely generate
more organic waste than the previous use (retail, toy store). How will the trash be
managed? Does Golden Rabbit intend to share the dumpster with the neighboring
restaurant? How often will the trash be removed? Is there opportunity to add
additional refuse bins in the common vestibule area?
Hours of operation are missing from the project description. How many employees
will be working and where will they park?
3. Miscellaneous
Please be advised that corrections to the plans have been issued by the Public Works
Department, the Building Division, and by Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing. Please

come to City Hall (Bay C) to pick up the redlines from Public Works. The redlines
must be returned with any resubmittal.
Staff recommends contacting the individual reviewers for any specific questions or
further clarification on comments given. You may also visit the public counter (also
in Bay C) for more information from the different departments.
Upon verification of completion, the application will be processed and scheduled for a
Zoning Administrator Hearing. Should you have any questions regarding submittal
