(AG) was onsite at the request of Jadon Construction, Inc. to observe and document the footing excavations for the proposed addition along the rear of the existing onsite structure. The excavation consists of one (1) perimeter footing and three (3) pad footings along the rear of the subject site. The footing excavations exposed marine deposits consisting of pale gray slightly silty sand with scattered shell fragments. The marine deposits were damp to moist and probed medium dense. The subject footing excavations are considered geologically acceptable for placement of steel and concrete. Any loose material and debris should be removed from the footing excavation(s) prior to placement of concrete. As a condition for use of this field memorandum, the property owners and builder shall accept the risk of minor structural and cosmetic cracking between improvements supported by new footings and those supported by the existing foundation. Our services do not include verification of line and grade for the subject footings, which is responsibility of others. Dimensions to be verified by others.
