Please be advised that after reviewing the subject application, your submittal has been
deemed incomplete and further information is required before we are able to proceed
with the application process.
The following documentation is required to complete the application:
1. The net guest area must include the 205 square foot 'unoccupied' space. By definition
in Chapter 2 of the building code, net floor area is 'the actual occupied area not
including unoccupied accessory areas such as corridors, stairways, ramps toilet
rooms, mechanical rooms and closets'. To limit the floor area occupied by guests to
what is described as the 'guest queuing' area is not consistent with the CBC
definition. Modify the plans and, if necessary, the design to comply with this
requirement.
2. Type II exhaust discharge must be 10-ft away from building openings, property lines,
grade level and adjacent buildings. In addition, exhaust shall not discharge onto
public way. Modify the design to comply with this requirement.
Upon verification of completion, the application will be processed and scheduled for a
Zoning Administrator Hearing. Should you have any questions regarding submittal
