A letter dated November 23, 1964, from the Success Broadcasting Company, requesting an amendment to the License Agreement between the City of Newport Beach and Newport -Costa Mesa Broadcasting, Inc. , in order to accommodate a tower of the height of 350 feet, was presented. Gary Whirl of Success Broadcasting Company spoke fro the audience. Tuppan requesting an encroachment of a two foot overhang on the second floor into the alleyway on Lot 9 and 10 of Block 7, Section 5, Balboa Island Tract, was presented. Mr. Erwin Tuppan spoke from the audience requesting approval. The encroachment as requested was approved, with the Motion stipulation that it start with the second floor.
