Dear City Council, It's nice to see a proclamation recognizing Hunger Action Month. I'm interested in knowing what the City would do during the Month. On a tangent, you may have seen on Friday, LA Times had a front page news about SB 1383's curbside collection of food waste. Newport Beach was mentioned favorably. Council and staff deserve credit for taking stead steps during the pandemic to work on this, moved from the 2- cart system to 3-cart. One of the next targets of SB 1383 is rescuing edible food to feed the hungry, which is so timely due to the pandemic and inflation. I'd love to know where the City is at. Thanks, Hoiyin
