Please be advised that after reviewing the subject application, your submittal has been
deemed incomplete and further information is required before we are able to proceed
with the application process.
The following documentation is required to complete the application:
1. Provide documentation that Todd Schiffman is a trustee of the Todd Schiffman Living
Trust.
2. Provide a complete sign matrix worksheet. Include the following information:
a. Each sign type
b. Quantity of each sign type
c. Reference letter on the site plan
d. Size
e. Height
f. Area
g. If the sign is illuminated
3. Dimension the distances between the corner of the building and both Sign Type As.
There should be a minimum of 15’ on either corner between signs. If this requirement
cannot be complied with, provide a written justification for consideration. Further
corrections may be required after this correction is addressed.
4. Verify all dimensions and area is correct on the sign type details.
5. Signs proposed are illuminated. Internal illumination is permitted only if the sign
background is opaque and the only portion of the sign that appears as illuminated is
the actual lettering and/or a registered trademark or logo. Modify the design to comply
with this requirement. If this requirement cannot be complied with, provide a written
justification for consideration. Further corrections may be required after this
correction is addressed.
6. Provide the dimensions of the pylon sign and ensure they are compliant. The required
dimensions can be found in NBMC 20.42.080.C.
7. Provide more information on the nature of the menu boards, including:

a. If the messages change automatically and/or plays in a loop
b. How often the messages are changed
c. Their brightness
d. Confirm if they are digital or not
e. Any other information that can be provided
8. Provide a written justification regarding why so many menu signs are proposed.
Further corrections may be required after this correction is addressed.
9. The site plans show only one Sign Type H, but the detail sheets show two Sign Type
Hs, with different dimensions. Provide a separate reference letter for the second Sign
Type H, and include it on the site plan.
10. Add the building address number. It should be posted on the pylon sign or building
elevation facing Bristol Street.
11. Note: Further corrections may be required for the directional signs after review from
the Public Works Department.

Hard copies may be requested at the time of review but are not initially required.
Upon verification of completion, the application will be processed and scheduled for a
Zoning Administrator Hearing. Should you have any questions regarding submittal
