PLAN CHECK NO. PA2022-002 ADDRESS: 2172 E Ocean Front
CORRECTION DATE: 02/10/2022
CORRECTIONS:
1. Coastal hazards report: Coastal hazards report should interpolate sea level rise data to the
year 2100. Waterproofing of the residence will be required to +14.4 NAVD88. GeoSoils
may contact me directly to discuss revisions to report.
2. Provide a construction pollution prevention plan (CPPP). See NBMC 21.35.030
(Construction Pollution Prevention Plan)
3. Pursuant to NBMC 21.30.050 (Grade Establishment), the slope and established grade
shall be calculating using the four corners of the footprint of the proposed residence. Plans
show calculation using footprint of previous residence. Label established grade on
elevations and measure height from this point.
4. Pursuant to NBMC 21.30.040.C.3 (Fences, Hedges, Walls, and Retaining Walls), pool
protection fencing in the front setback area may exceed 42” to the minimum height
required by building code, in compliance with the following standards: Fences shall be
constructed of open grillwork, wrought iron, latticework, pickets, or similar materials so that at
least forty (40) percent of the fence or wall is open. In lieu of the above, glass or Plexiglas may be
allowed. Plans show glass on top of low wall. Protection fence must be entirely glass, not
glass atop a solid wall.
