Attn: Ashley Zill 1760 Monrovia Ave., Suite C2 Costa Mesa, CA 92627 Application No. • Comprehensive Sign Program No. CS2022-003 (PA2022-135) Address 600 East Bay Avenue Please be advised that after reviewing the subject application, your submittal has been deemed incomplete and further information is required before we are able to proceed with the application process. The following documentation is required to complete the application: Plans: 1. Include all existing signs in the new sign program, including signs currently present but not on the last approved sign program. Note that further corrections may be required after this information had been provided. 2. Update the plans to reflect the following: a. Remove all references to tenants no longer operating at the property. b. Update sign examples and photos to reflect current tenants and conditions. c. Provide images of the proposed signs on the elevation views. Provide larger elevation views as needed for clarity. d. Update the title page of the sign program to reflect the current submittal date, and current sign program designer (with current contact information). 3. Consider if any existing signs might be removed from the property. Provide a written response to this correction. 4. Remove any nonconforming signs no longer present at the property from the sign program. Verify if any nonconforming signs have been removed. 5. Verify sign dimensions and area are correct on the new “Sign C” plans. 6. Provide a complete sign matrix, in the plans and as a separate document. Documentation: 7. Provide documentation that the signer of the ownership affidavit owns the property and is authorized to sign. Submit an electronic copy of the requested materials to ccurley@newportbeachca.gov. Hard copies may be requested at the time of review but are not initially required. Upon verification of completion, the application will be processed and scheduled for a Zoning Administrator Action Letter.
