Please be advised that after reviewing the subject application, your submittal has been
deemed incomplete and further information is required before we are able to proceed
with the application process.
The following documentation is required to complete the application:
1. Mailing Labels: Mailing labels must be submitted as both an Excel spreadsheet
and Word document (Avery 5160 label format). Please see the attached Public
Hearing Requirements for electronic formatting for the Excel and Word files.
2. Plans: A 3-foot-wide fire department access is required to rescue windows and
exterior doors. The proposed plans indicate a 1.5-foot-wide separation between the
existing single-family residence and proposed structure. Provide a full rear
elevation of the existing single-family residence showing all windows and doors.
Depending on the location of existing rescue windows and exterior doors, the
proposed structure may require relocation to provide the 3-foot-wide fire
department access between buildings.
3. Acoustical Study: Please provide an acoustical analysis report per the attached
Acoustical Study Guidelines. Ensure an illustrative design concept for the proposed
method of sound attenuation is provided.
For your information: This project is pending review from the Building Department. The
Building Department’s Project Review Request will be forwarded once available and any
corrections, if any, must be addressed in order to complete the application.

A limited term permit for the construction of a soil vapor extraction and treatment system for a term of
12 months. The soil vapor extraction and treatment system will consist of a 20’ x 12’ x 10’ treatment
system building, underground pipe network (approximately 2,400 linear ft), and 13 extraction wells for
soil gas remediation. The project requests relief from the required 8 ft. distance between buildings and
5 ft. setback per the PC24 Aeronutronic Ford development standards.

Acoustical Study Information
General Information
Acoustical analysis reports for noise impacted projects may be required, according to either the Noise
Element of the Newport Beach General Plan, the Zoning regulations, or conditions of project approval.
This information sheet will discuss the requirements for an acoustical report. If you have any questions
after you have read this information, call Planning Division Permit Counter at (949) 644-3204.
