2016 CBC; 2016 CRC; 2016 CPC; 2016 CEC; 2016 CMC; 2016 California Energy Code; 2016 California
Green Building Standards Code (CALGreen); and Chapter 15 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
(NBMC).
1. Obtain plan review approval from the following:

2. Exit passageway shall be enclosed with 1 hr rated fire barrier. Provide the following for
the rated passageway:
a. Complete fire barrier construction cross section; 707.1 & 1024.3.
b. Doors into rated passageway shall be 1-hour,,rated with smoke and draft, proldction and
