Dear Mr. Kaplan: Pursuant to your request, we are pleased to submit the results of our structural plan review of the subject pool and spa by AA Consulting Engineering Inc. dated 5-03-18 and site plan by Aurora Construction and Design dated 5-02-18. This letter is in response to County of Orange, Residential Plan check corrections. The spacing of caisson numbers 12 & 13, plus 14 & 15 plus 1 & 2 are in excess of recommended distance of 12 feet between the caissons. However, according to the Structural Engineer, the grade beam has been designed to tolerate the span, therefore excess spacing is acceptable from a geotechnical standpoint.
