As requested, the City of Newport Beach is confirming and clarifying the address for the
following building.
Addressing is as follows for the following Assessor’s Parcel Number:
APN 427-231-22 6 Upper Newport Plaza Drive
Address numbers should be at least four inches high, of contrasting color to their background,
and clearly visible from the street. We will notify City departments; however, it is your
responsibility to advise all other affected agencies, such as the U. S. Postal Service, utilities,
Orange County Assessor, etc. Please be sure to inform the local telephone service carrier so
that responses to any “9-1-1” emergency calls are dispatched to valid addresses.

In reviewing the tax bill for parcel 427-231-22, it came to our attention that the location was incorrectly stated on the
tax bill as 7 Upper Newport Plaza when it should be listed as 6 Upper Newport Plaza.
I contacted the OC Treasurer who gets their information from and referred me to the OC Assessor’s office who gets their
information from and referred me to your office.
The information on file with your office is correct.
In order for the Tax Assessor’s office to correct their records, they are requiring a letter from the city of Newport Beach
stating that the location for parcel 427-231-22 is 6 Upper Newport Plaza.

It was nice speaking with you this morning. If you need address confirmation in writing, please submit a request in
writing (you can simply reply to this email if you like). Please be sure to include the following information in the request:
• full name
• Identify whether you are the property owner of the representative for the property owner
• Name of the property owner
• Contact address (to mail a hard copy of our approval letter)
• The address and requested address of the subject property

• The purpose of the requested address
Once this information is provided to me, I can typically complete the request within three business days. All of the
appropriate City departments will be notified of the new address through this process.
