Please be advised that after reviewing the subject application, your submittal has been
deemed incomplete and further information is required before we are able to proceed
with the application process.
The following documentation is required to complete the application:
1. Please complete and return the “Authorization for Use and Copying of Architecturally
Drawings” form.
2. Please revise the project description letter to include a response to the required
findings identified in the “Modification Permit Information” form.
3. Plans:
a. Include open volume area calculations on the title sheet to ensure
compliance, refer to NBMC section 20.48.180.A.3 for additional details
(15% of the buildable area of the lot in addition to the required setback
areas).
b. Plot property lines on the site plan and all floor plans with setbacks
dimensioned.
c. Label the interior clear dimensions of the garage free of all obstructions
such as cabinetry, appliances, steps, posts, etc. (one riser is allowed,
maximum 6 inches high, encroaching no more than 18 inches into the
garage).
d. Label the established grade on all the elevation sheets.
e. Label the roof pitches on all the elevation sheets.
f. Verify if any landscape work is proposed, note area of landscape work on the
title sheet. If over 2,500 square feet, water efficiency landscape ordinance
(WELO) will apply. If none, note on the title sheet.

g. Indicate the location of the screened trash area on the site plan or floor plan.
h. Please refer to the redlined plans for additional corrections.
Please be advised that review by the Fire Department, and Public Works Department is
pending. Additional comments from these reviews may follow.
Upon verification of completion, the application will be processed and scheduled for a
Zoning Administrator Hearing. Should you have any questions regarding submittal
