A Conditional Use Permit and Operator License to add live entertainment and a dance floor to the existing eating and drinking establishment “Stag Bar.” The applicant is also requesting to increase the maximum occupancy from 260 to 290, which also requires a parking waiver of 8 required spaces. No parking study has been provided at this time. A full project description, project plans, and security plans have been submitted.

Notes:
1) Existing occupant load calculations shown on sheet T0.1
does not add up to 260.
2) According to latest Certificate of Occupancy issued under
Permit X2013-3572, the total occupant load 20for the
building is 221. Please provide copy more recent C of O
permitting higher occupant load of 260 for review.
2nd Review: Pending Permit XC2023-0009 final and
issuance of Certificate of Occupancy.
3) Existing Building is not protected with fire sprinklers as
noted on Sheet T0.1.
2nd Review Note: Applicant stated fire sprinklers are
proposed for next plan check submittal for occupancy
increase.

4) Obtain building permit for proposed occupant load increases
from existing permitted 221. Submit plans for plan check;
building shall comply with current codes.
2nd Review Note: Applicant acknowledged.
5) Exits and exit accesses shall not be obstructed.
2nd Review Note: Applicant noted that there is not door
between the outdoor patio dining area (53 occ.) and interior
of restaurant. How will be building be secured at closing?
6) Need to exclude hallways and other access ways when
determining assembly occupancy load; for example, shows
the area of the restroom alcove as being used to determine
standing room occupant load.
