I’ll be traveling during the public meeting regarding extension. Additionally, 11:30am for most people is hard to get
away and attend in person.
You may hear from several neighbors on River Ave or 39th street. Please present our feelings and concerns. 5 years
to remodel a home seems excessive. Several of these past years have one or two guys working on house for months at
extremely slow pace. There’s been trucks parked in front of driveways. Numerous times I’ve had to search for driver of
vehicle blocking my garage. Had to go inside and upstairs just to find guy. He laughed and took his time moving. Once
might be funny, multiple requests not to block driveways gets frustrating. One trades guy has a standard white pickup
truck with extreme backup warning horn. 6‐6:30am he spends 5 minutes parking and backing up sounding horn..
Just tired of noise throughout day and a feeling this place will never end. If city does extend, make it a FINAL. Put a
fire under him to finish, please!!!!

Is this a hearing open to public? I’m traveling during this time. But neighbors might wish to
attend or send in their concerns.
If not, anything the city can do to expedite this 5 year project would greatly be appreciated.

The hearing is scheduled for 05/25/2023 at 11:30 a.m. at City Hall in the Corona Del mar conference room.

Dear sir,
This home is located on the corner of 39th and River Ave.
This remodel has been occurring for 5years. Guessing this is one of the longest remodels in history of NB… LOL
Neighbors are so tired of construction/trade trucks starting 6:30am and this project being never ending…. Yesterday
a coring company came at 4:30 ”pm”and began cutting the street (39th). Police appeared and not sure what occurred
(we did not call). Cutting went on and then stopped…. Your dept may hear from other neighbors as several met
yesterday to discuss.
This remodel started 2017 and there is no sign it will be completed this year…. Probably should have started
complaining at year 3…. Think we all were praying it would end soon.. our bad!!!
Any assistance to get this completed and some normalcy back to neighborhood would be appreciated.
