City Council,
We have watched as so much dirt has been brought in to the "dump" at Newport Coast Drive / Newport Ridge.
I realize this is possibly not City of NB land/responsibility, and may be The Irvine Company, but could you please update
me as to what is going on there? Are they doing methane remediation or are they preparing the land for development? I
was surprised to see a really flat pad -looking area up against NCD and that is why I'm asking. Lastly, is the site still being
considered for development of a driving range and/or low income housing?
Any update would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jamie Amarasuriya

City Council,
It is my understanding that Huntington Beach legislated against future health mandates in their city.
Will Newport Beach consider similar legislation? It is my impression that the current council would be opposed to health
mandates of any kind, but it would be wonderful if you would consider legislation to codify this, and to possibly prevent
or at least impede future councils from this unwise and unlawful course of action against Newport Beach residents.
Thank you for your consideration,
Jamie Amarasuriya

Dear Newport Beach,
I finally was able to file my formal complaint on bewell, the NBPD yesterday with the police department. Multiple claims
with the city coming. I am over here at OLQA church (my families church for 40 years) and thry have not only a group
that comes every Friday but also a safe park program. All this gas wasted, all the harassment I have endured for.nothing
because YOU people didn't tell me when I begged for help 100 times. I have the emails. Never once was I told about this.
Meanwhile there are 3 cars here that look like straight off the L.A. Skidrow that literally live here. I have been trying to
get services since January. My barrier to housing?? The toxic, unethical people making money off of our suffering with
no intentions of ever truly helping us. $42,000 a year the state pays just for me .... ten years strong. Wow. You people are
truly deplorable.
