Dear Mr. Rogel,
The referenced Coastal Development Permit was approved by the Zoning Administrator
on March 12, 2020. The referenced permit are set to expire March 12, 2022. Pursuant
to Section 21.54.060 (Time Limits and Extensions) of the Newport Beach Municipal Code,
the Community Development Director may extend the approval for no more than three
additional 12-month periods beyond the expiration of the original approval. The Director
must find that there have been no changes in the conditions or circumstances of the site
or project, such that there would have been grounds for denial of the original project.
On June 15, 2022, the Community Development Director approved a 12-month extension
based on the attached written request dated June 1, 2022. Therefore, the referenced
Coastal Development Permit will now expire March 12, 2023.
