This submittal proposes to increase the entitlement under the General Plan to allow for the addition of 440 square feet to One Upper Newport Plaza, for badly needed storage space. This small addition will have minimal impact on the surrounding improvements. Although this addition eliminates three parking stalls, the site will still have four more parking spaces than are required and many more parking spaces than are actually needed based on over 12 years of use. This small addition was approved in 1995, but we were unable to proceed with the addition at that time.
