The City of Newport Beach has reviewed this request and has no objections to the reconfiguration of the lot within this community, providing that all installations are completed subject to prevailing State and Federal codes and guidelines. If you have any questions or desire further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me at (949) 644-3206. Subsequent to my visit to your Office, I met with a representative of Department of Housing to further discuss this change. Our original plan was modified somewhat. Attached is a copy of the newly modified lot line relocation. As previously indicated, Space 4277 Revere Way is an irregularly shaped corner lot. We are asking that a current lot line be moved to increase the width of the lot by one foot at its narrowest location, and three feet at its widest location. The overall result will be to increase the size of the lot by seventeen square feet, and reduce the adjacent common areas by seventeen square feet. This alteration impacts no homeowner. Space #277 Revere Way is currently a vacant space, and the alterations requested merely reconfigure the existing common areas. In speaking with the Department of Housing Permit Officer, he indicated that a delay would probably result from trying to match our permit application with an approval letter sent under separate cover. You may address your reply to Department of Housing, Division of Codes and Standards, 3737 Main Street, Suite 400, Riverside, Ca. 92501, ATTN: Robert Ruiz. However, I would appreciate a "duplicate original" to attach to my application in order to expedite the permit process. Your prompt attention is greatly appreciated. To Whom It May Concern, De Anza Bayside Village Mobilehome Park is requesting that the Department of Housing approve the relocation of a lot line for space #277 Revere Way, within our community. The Department of Housing has asked that we secure confirmation from the City of Newport Beach that they have no current policy or provision that would prohibit this action. Space #277 Revere Way is an irregularly shaped corner lot. We are asking that a current lot line be moved to increase the width of the lot by one foot at its narrowest location, and five feet at its widest location (please see drawings attached). The overall result will be to increase the size of the lot by seven square feet, and to reduce adjacent "common areas" by seven square feet. This alteration impacts no homeowner. Space #277 Revere Way is currently a vacant space, and the alterations requested merely reconfigure existing common areas. Your prompt attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated. Your reply maybe directed to Department of Housing, Division of Codes and Standards, 3737 Main Street, Suite 400, Riverside, CA. 92501, ATTN: Mr. Danny Wade. I would greatly appreciate receiving a copy of your response.
