(Huilder) and the plans approved Sept. 28, 1949 by Mr. - Pate Nelson, thEin Head of
the Building Dept. for Newport Beach, and filed at City Hall. There is also a
complete description of the property at the Orange 'County Assessor's office, file
#52-071-03. Plans included a 2 Bad Room residence in front, a 2 Bed Robm apart-
ment over 2 garages in rear, and a Bachelor (or Studio) apartment next to the
garages with separate parking ramp. Parking for 2 extra cars besides, provided
for a total of 5 cars. Houses were then allowed to be built on A lots, se by
having a lot and h (451xll8'), with R-2 zoning, the Bachelor apt. was permitted.
Always beautifully kept, this property has been improved and up -dated, but is
structurally the same. The original 3 units have been maintained by all owners,
as the attached letters show.
Following is the history of ownership:
Built by David R. Thomas Sept. 280 1949 and sold to Dr. & Mro. Dales A. Dunbar.
Sold by Dr. & Mrs. Dunbar 1956 to two sisters, Mrs. Adelaide C. Amling-and
Miss Ellen D. Mueller.
